Inner Diameter and Concentricity
Identify the mating fastener, clearance requirement and any critical concentricity or edge condition on the drawing.
DRAWING-BASED CUSTOM PARTS
Custom rubber washers sized for fasteners, fittings and panel holes to seal, cushion and electrically isolate.
Send the inner diameter, outer diameter, thickness, clamp condition and application environment for a drawing review.

Rubber washers are annular die-cut parts that distribute fastener contact while accommodating surface variation. Compound choice lets the washer serve as a water seal, vibration buffer, anti-scratch layer or electrical isolation interface in one compact component.
A rubber washer adds elastic recovery around a fastener and can seal minor irregularities better than a metal washer alone.
Typical values for reference only. Final material grade, tolerance and dimensional capability are confirmed after drawing review.
| Part type | Custom die-cut rubber washer |
|---|---|
| Available materials | EPDM, nitrile and FKM options |
| Thickness range | Material and clamp-load dependent |
| Inner / outer diameter | Drawing dependent |
| Profile tolerance | Drawing review required |
| Thickness tolerance | Material grade dependent |
| Adhesive options | Not typically required |
| Delivery format | Individual washers or nested sheets |
| Media / environment | Selected compound dependent |
MATERIAL SELECTION
Use this as a starting point only; the selected grade and construction are confirmed against the drawing and application.
| Material | Key Property | Review Focus | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| EPDM Rubber | Weather and water resistance | Confirm outdoor and water exposure | General outdoor sealing washers |
| NBR / Nitrile Rubber | Oil resistance | Confirm fluid, temperature and clamp load | Oil-contact washer applications |
| FKM Rubber | Specialty material options | Confirm compound and media compatibility | Demanding process conditions |
PRODUCT EXAMPLES

CONVERTING OPTIONS
Hole size is set to assembly clearance and desired squeeze; concentricity requirements should be stated for tight fits.
DESIGN REVIEW
Practical points to include when selecting foam and preparing a drawing for review.
Identify the mating fastener, clearance requirement and any critical concentricity or edge condition on the drawing.
A washer’s behavior depends on material grade, thickness and the expected clamp load. Avoid assuming a fixed compression response.
State the actual fluid, temperature and outdoor exposure when material compatibility is important.
Specify individual parts, nested sheets or another delivery format based on the assembly process.
Washer selection depends on the actual fastener, clamp load, media, temperature and the required inner- and outer-diameter control.
Structural load bearing, high-pressure hydraulic sealing without a purpose-designed seal, or temperatures beyond the selected elastomer.
PROJECT DELIVERY
Available options are confirmed against the selected material, drawing and order requirements.
| Capability | Options |
|---|---|
| Cutting | Die cutting / CNC knife cutting after drawing review |
| Adhesive | Not typically required |
| Delivery format | Individual washers / nested sheets |
| Prototype | Project review available |
| Production | Prototype to production-volume review |
| Drawing formats | PDF / DXF / DWG / STEP |
| Inspection | Critical requirements confirmed during drawing review |
| Secondary operations | Nested layouts and kit packing where suitable |
No drawing available? Send the fastener size, inner and outer diameter, thickness, clamp condition and application environment.
Provide the inner and outer diameter, thickness, material preference, clamp condition and intended environment.
Yes. Custom outer profiles, tabs and internal features can be reviewed from a drawing.
Material selection requires the actual fluid, temperature, pressure and exposure duration.
Identify critical dimensions and tolerances on the drawing for feasibility review.
Nested-sheet and individual-part formats can be reviewed around the assembly process.
Prototype and production routes are reviewed against material, geometry, quantity and delivery needs.
Share the fastener, joint stack-up and required function so the material construction can be reviewed.
Yes. CAD files, PDFs, dimensioned sketches and clear reference images can be reviewed for a custom quotation.
Include the drawing, material preference if known, critical dimensions, quantity and the application environment.
The manufacturing route is reviewed against the material, profile, critical requirements, quantity and delivery format rather than assumed from the part name.
