Temperature and Contact Surface
Specify operating temperature, surface finish and whether grip, low marking or easy cleaning is the primary requirement.
DRAWING-BASED CUSTOM PARTS
Heat-stable silicone pads cut for clean contact, grip, damping and surface protection in demanding assemblies.
Include temperature, contact surface, load and any cleaning requirement with your drawing for review.

Silicone pads are flat, discrete parts designed for contact rather than a continuous perimeter seal. They can be supplied smooth, textured or adhesive-backed for uses that need a cleanable, flexible and heat-tolerant interface.
Silicone maintains soft flexibility in both cold and heat and can be made with a naturally grippy, non-marking surface.
Typical values for reference only. Final material grade, tolerance and dimensional capability are confirmed after drawing review.
| Part type | Custom die-cut silicone pad |
|---|---|
| Available materials | Solid silicone and silicone foam options |
| Thickness range | Material and load dependent |
| Pad footprint | Drawing dependent |
| Profile tolerance | Drawing review required |
| Thickness tolerance | Material grade dependent |
| Adhesive options | PSA where suitable for placement |
| Delivery format | Individual pads, sheets or liner-retained parts |
| Surface finish | Selected around contact requirement |
MATERIAL SELECTION
Use this as a starting point only; the selected grade and construction are confirmed against the drawing and application.
| Material | Construction | Review Focus | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| Silicone Rubber | Solid elastomer options | Confirm hardness, texture and temperature | Durable contact and protective pads |
| Silicone Foam | Foam construction options | Confirm compression and recovery | Low-force cushioning and spacing |
PRODUCT EXAMPLES

CONVERTING OPTIONS
Texture and pad area are selected around friction, cleanability and the amount of deflection permitted in service.
A repeatable route for defined profiles after tooling and project review.
Custom Die Cutting →A flexible route for complex profiles and variable project volumes.
CNC Knife Cutting →PSA and liner constructions reviewed around the mating surface and assembly method.
Adhesive Backing →Layered material constructions reviewed as a complete assembly.
Industrial Laminating →DESIGN REVIEW
Practical points to include when selecting foam and preparing a drawing for review.
Specify operating temperature, surface finish and whether grip, low marking or easy cleaning is the primary requirement.
The selected hardness and contact area influence stability and deflection under load. Mark any critical footprint dimensions.
Texture can affect grip, cleanability and visual finish. Include the intended maintenance and contact environment.
Where adhesive is required for placement, confirm the substrate and service conditions before selecting a construction.
Silicone pad selection is driven by temperature, contact surface, required texture, load and the desired cleaning or handling behavior.
Fuel or petroleum-oil immersion, sharp abrasive sliding surfaces, or high structural loads concentrated on a small pad.
PROJECT DELIVERY
Available options are confirmed against the selected material, drawing and order requirements.

No drawing available? Send the footprint, temperature, contact surface and load requirement for an initial review.
Temperature suitability is determined by the selected silicone grade, load, exposure duration and application conditions.
Specify the required deflection, contact area, surface behavior and load so a suitable construction can be reviewed.
Texture requirements can be reviewed when grip, cleanability, marking and the mating surface are defined.
Installation-retention adhesive can be considered when the target substrate and service conditions are known.
Yes. Include all holes, cutouts and critical dimensions on the drawing.
Individual parts, nested sheets and liner-retained formats can be reviewed around the assembly workflow.
Prototype feasibility depends on material availability, part geometry, quantity and required finishing.
Yes. CAD files, PDFs, dimensioned sketches and clear reference images can be reviewed for a custom quotation.
Include the drawing, material preference if known, critical dimensions, quantity and the application environment.
The manufacturing route is reviewed against the material, profile, critical requirements, quantity and delivery format rather than assumed from the part name.
